Fibre Cement Cladding
Hardie® Plank Cladding
The Hardie® Plank fibre cement cladding is a weatherboard plank that provides customers with a great alternative to natural timber cladding.
We’re proud to be premium stockists and suppliers of the James Hardie cladding products, of which is stored in dry and safe warehouses. No matter the size of your project, we’re here to assist.
Hardie® Plank is BBA certified (04/4147) and, as per section 7 of that certificate, holds an A2-s1, d0 classification in accordance with EN 13501-1: 2007. As per section 10 of BBA certificate 04/4147, 'when installed in accordance with this Certificate and the Certificate holder’s installation instructions, and subject to normal conditions of exposure and use, the product will have an estimated service life in excess of 30 years.'
Furthermore, Hardie® Plank cladding is incredibly versatile as it boasts 21 neutral tones that are available in either a wood effect or smooth cedar texture, so you’re free to create your ideal facade. This colour is supported by ColourPlus™ Technology which means it’s multi-coated and resistant to fading.

Installing Hardie® Plank
The best way to fix Hardie® Plank is by using impulse or pneumatic nail guns, or by nailing by hand.
Nails should be placed 20-25mm down from the top edge of each plank and driven into the batten with the heads flush with the surface of the plank.
If the planks require cutting on site, a Hardie™ Guillotine or Hardie™ Blade can be used quickly and effectively. In conjunction with the Hardie® Planks, we sell these products in a select number of our depots.
Before installation, Hardie® Plank should always be stored indoors in a shed or other storage facility. Storing the planks outdoors in areas with heavy rainfall can cause damage to the planks. If you have no other place to store the planks but outside, make sure to cover the planks using a waterproof tarp.
