An engineering brick is used in construction applications where strength, resistance to frost and low water absorption is most important. Most commonly, we see engineering bricks used as a rigid damp proof course (dpc) to ensure that builds are healthy and structurally sound, even when coming into contact with high levels of moisture or frost. Other common applications are for sewers and manholes, where the presence of water is unavoidable. [Special shaped engineering bricks](https://brickability.co.uk/bricks/special-shaped-brick), such as bullnose, cill or copping bricks, can also be used above standard brickwork to prevent the below bricks from water damage. What engineering brick dimensions do we offer?
