Overview
Built during the Covid-19 pandemic and completed in July 2021, the Baltic Hotel is the first hotel in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle, an independent and creative district home to studios, bars, restaurants, entertainment and shops. Situated on the site of a former factory and warehouse, it was the desire of the owners to keep many of the original features to highlight the pre-war architecture, but elevate it with a modern twist. Containing 52 rooms with views over the city and River Mersey, the £7m development also includes brand new pub The Duck and Swagger and Shoreditch-style restaurant, The Baltic Brasserie.
The team at Architectural Facades were pleased to assist in the design and supply of the aluminium backing structure and Scalamid cladding panels for the Baltic Hotel project. The finished development has provided a fantastic hub for tourists to stay and explore the popular and trendy city of Liverpool.
