Project Overview
The Address, also known as The Prestige, is part of the Wolstenholme Square development, which now provides 11 storeys of luxurious living spaces within the heart of Liverpool. Forming part of the wider Ropeworks regeneration plan, this building offers 200 studio, one and two-bed apartments. Three ground-floor commercial units, 90 cycle storage spaces, gym, entrance lobby and a rooftop terrace complete this urban scheme.
LBT supplied 205,000 Farmstead Antique facing bricks to this Elliot Group project that was managed by main contractors Newry Construction.
Design to Completion
Inspiration for the design of The Address was taken from the industrial architecture in the locality, and LBT worked with the architects at Falconer Chester Hall to specify a brick that would blend seamlessly into the Ropeworks area. The Farmstead Antique bricks were chosen to echo the industrial heritage of the site and complement the other warm-toned, red-brick facades commonly found in neighbouring streets.
The series of columns that follows the sweep of the road mimics the lines found on many of the surrounding buildings and helps to provide this project with a sense of grandeur.
An innovative use of contemporary materials helps this project to blend harmoniously into the Ropeworks area, and the team at LBT were pleased to contribute to this fantastic final piece of the Wolstenhome Square development.
