Overview
Stonehaven Park is a contemporary collection of homes that blend style, functionality and modern living. Developed by Redrow Homes, this residential scheme offers a selection of well-designed homes within Ebbsfleet Valley, just 20 minutes from central London.
Part of a broader vision to create a new sustainable and well-connected community, Stonehaven Park also features thoughtfully planned public spaces, pedestrian-friendly layouts, and access to extensive green infrastructure.
To support both the project’s aesthetic and sustainability requirements, Brickability supplied the Timanfaya Blue facing brick from our exclusive range.
Brick Selection
The architectural direction for Stonehaven Park embraced clean geometric lines and a contemporary material palette. The Timanfaya Blue brick played a key role in achieving this goal due to its dark blue hue, smooth texture and subtle sheen.
Installed across the home’s lower levels, as well as dispersed through the lighter bricks used at higher points on the houses, the combined effect delivers the sophistication the design team required.
The blue tone of the Timanfaya Blue was also the perfect choice to neighbour the blue timber-effect cladding used on a selection of the Stonehaven Park homes. These homes, with their monotone facade, are striking points of visual interest within the development’s overall design, whilst the blue bricks used on adjacent plots ensure the scheme remains cohesive.
Working closely with Redrow’s design and procurement teams, Brickability ensured the specification of these facing bricks that shaped the site’s unique mix of timeless elegance and urban character.

Sustainability
As a flagship development within the Ebbsfleet Garden City initiative, Stonehaven Park was designed with sustainability and long-term liveability at its core. The homes have been built to meet strict energy standards and to support modern lifestyles, with features such as electric vehicle charging, low-energy lighting and efficient insulation.
The Timanfaya Blue brick adds to these credentials due to the sustainability benefits of brick. These include a high thermal mass to help regulate indoor temperatures, a long lifespan with minimal maintenance, a low embodied carbon relative to other building materials, and recyclability at end of life.
Combined with energy-efficient design and modern construction practices, the use of the Timanfaya Blue facing brick from La Paloma Ceramics supports the project team's commitment to creating high-quality, low-impact homes.
