An innovative slip & EWI system, Sustainabrick® offers specifiers, architects, contractors, and developers a range of aesthetic and commercial benefits compared to traditional wet-laid bricks & slips.

Certified carbon neutral brick slips

An EWI system
Sustainabrick® is designed as an EWI system removing the need for cavity or fire barriers. This means thinner wall build-up and a lighter overall build.
Installation is 12x faster than single slip systems
Each standard panel consists of twelve brick slips on a cast-in mesh, allowing installers to fix 12 slips at a time.
Thinner and lighter brick slips
Sustainabrick® brick slips are 13mm thick, making them ≥85% thinner than wet laid bricks and lighter than leading alternatives.

Sustainabrick® offers planners, architects, and developers the ability to meet their sustainability requirements, as well as achieve scheduling, quality, and commercial commitments.
- Consistent & Efficient Sustainabrick® brick slips are purpose-made to size, meaning no material is wasted and no dust is created through the cutting process.
- Carbon Free Curing Our slips are cured at an ambient working temperature within 24hrs, so no energy intensive kiln or gas firing.
- Efficient On-site Delivery The slips are 85% thinner than wet-laid brick resulting in a significant weight reduction. This enables one artic wagon to transport the equivalent of six wagons of bricks, reducing overall transport emissions.
- On-site Labour Efficiency A thinner slip means a lighter slip this allows one operative to easily install a standard 12-slip panel at once compared to placing individual bricks or slips.
- Complete EWI System The Sustainabrick® system is a EWI containing mineral wool, providing the system with low U-values.
- Carbon Neutral Supply Chain Sustainabrick® brick slips are all manufactured in the UK our dedicated carbon-neutral certified factory. At this site we Following delivery to site, Monolith offers a service to recycle the packaging materials, reducing on-site waste.
