New solar panels power up Bricklink showroom

Bricklink’s Glasgow depot is now harnessing solar energy, strengthening its commitment to sustainability.

This summer was fantastic for sunshine, but it’s important to acknowledge the potential environmental shift that this signals. In response, Bricklink has taken steps to power its Glasgow yard more efficiently with the installation of rooftop solar panels.

The panels are already making an impact, illuminating the showroom and highlighting Bricklink’s huge product offering.

To complement the new panels, the design studio also received a fresh lighting upgrade in August. This new setup creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for customers, whilst showing Bricklink’s products in the best - renewable – light.

There was, however, a brief delay in capturing images of the finished installation due to a very overprotective seagull who had taken residence on the roof! Luckily, once the gull chicks had fledged, we were able to gather drone photos, captured by Bricklink’s General Manager, Brian Burns. We think you’ll agree the panels look fantastic!
