Following James Hardie’s recent announcement regarding its intended withdrawal from European operations, and to provide reassurance to our customers, please see the statement below from our Managing Director, Richard Cosgrove.

Dear Customer,

Following James Hardie’s announcement on Friday, regarding the intention to close its European Fibre Cement Cladding operations by the end of the year. We wanted to provide you with an update and reassure you regarding ongoing supply.

Together with BRCK Group plc, and James Hardie, we are actively exploring all available options to support continuity of supply going forward. We will keep you fully informed as these discussions progress.

In the meantime, it is very much business as usual.

Brickability Brick and Building Materials, and the wider BRCK Group plc, currently hold significant stocks of James Hardie products across our various warehouse locations and until further notice we are also able to continue placing orders directly with James Hardie.

We remain fully committed to supporting all existing projects, as well as new sites and enquiries and are working closely with our suppliers and Group businesses to minimise any potential disruption.

As soon as there are any further developments, we will provide another update.

In the meantime, if you would like to discuss your requirements or have any questions regarding James Hardie supply, reach out to your local Brickability branch: Locations

Kind regards,

Richard Cosgrove | Managing Director
