Three decades strong: LBT host their annual bowling event for CRY

LBT Brick & Facades once again welcomed clients, colleagues and friends to their annual bowling night - a tradition that’s now been going for over three decades!

This long-running event continues to blend light-hearted competition with a shared commitment to supporting worthy causes. This year’s event, co-sponsored by Michelmersh Brick Holdings PLC, raised an impressive £2,200 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), with half of the total matched by the Brickability Group Foundation.

Founded in 1995, CRY works to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths by increasing awareness of heart conditions in young people, funding specialist research, and offering bereavement support to affected families. The charity also provides subsidised cardiac screening for individuals aged 14–35, identifying around one in every 300 tested as carrying a potentially life-threatening heart condition.

As always, the attendees mixed, laughed and cheered each other on across the lanes, making it another evening to remember.

Congratulations go to Cassidy & Ashton Architects, who reclaimed the top spot three years after their last victory, and to Condy Lofthouse Architects who bowled their way to second place.

We would like to thank everyone who took part, donated and helped make the evening such a success – both this year and over the last three decades. The number of repeat winners from the last 30 years highlights the wonderful working relationships we’re lucky to have and shows your wonderful dedication to fun and fundraising.
