Creasing tiles should be laid in a broken bond, also called a cross bond, where the tile is laid halfway across the width of the tile below. It is further recommended that creasing tiles be laid with a maximum joint width of 10mm. If you need to cut your creasing tiles onsite, our manufacturing partners recommend a mechanical disk cutter for a neat appearance and the reduced risk of cracks. How can I use creasing tiles for decorative purposes? As well as using creasing tiles for functional applications such as for damp proof courses and as cappings on walls and cills, we love to work with architects and designers to create unique facade details using these products.
