Different from competitor systems, the ZClad panel ends are dressed rather than straight sawn, to further disguise joints. Additionally, the ZClad range includes external corner pieces that are specially designed to continue the effortless effect of the natural stone. Not only does this provide an attractive, realistic appearance, the panel system also offers installers great efficiency benefits, as approximately 30sqm of the product can be fitted in day. The standard dimensions of the ZClad stone cladding panels are 215mm x 600mm. How much will ZClad weigh? 1sqm of ZClad stone cladding will weigh approximately 85Kgs. What are ZClad panels made up of? ZClad panels are made up of three elements: - Cement base - Mesh - Natural stone To reinforce the concrete base, mesh is used before the authentic stone pieces are pressed into the base. While the front of the panel is wonderfully textured, the back remains flat for effective adhesion. What surfaces can I clad with ZClad stone cladding? It is recommended that ZClad stone cladding is installed onto either concrete or masonry surfaces. For walls under 2m, a recommended adhesive can be used however for applications above 2m, it’s advised that an integrated fixing clip is used.
