Available in a choice range of natural stones, Aztec stone cladding also holds an A1 fire-rating in accordance with BS EN 13501-1:2018, as per section 3.2 of the [System Laboratories UK report number 123-C](https://brickability.co.uk/uploads/documents/Aztec-Stone-Cladding-Classification-Report-123C.pdf). - ![Richard Fraser for web use 3562](https://brickability.co.uk/uploads/images/_669x453_crop_center-center_none/Richard-Fraser_for_web_use-3562.jpg) By using thin natural stone panels, Aztec stone cladding is a lightweight, ventilated and more sustainable alternative to traditional natural stone. Available in 20mm, 30mm or 40mm panels, the system is installed using stainless-steel clips in a horizontal kerf which is then attached to a T-rail using Tek screws. This efficient method not only saves time on site but also reduces energy consumption and support requirements. To design your facade and specify the right stone, our teams and the manufacturer are on hand to offer specification and technical guidance as well stone samples. The system components are: - 20mm, 30mm or 40mm thick stone panels - A vertical T-rail with the following dimensions: 120mm x 60mm x 2.8mm - 4x4 stainless steel clips - Neoprene strips - Stainless steel self-tapping screws - Support brackets Aztec stone cladding has been developed to make the structure as light as possible, without compromising on strength or integrity. All Aztec stone cladding stones have been fully tested to comply with BS 8298 in accordance with standard text methods as specified by CWCT. The CWCT testing, including hard and soft body impact tests, have been carried out at the independent Vinci Technology Centre [(report number N950-22-18396)](https://brickability.co.uk/uploads/documents/Aztec-Stone-Cladding-CWCT-Test-2022.pdf). Additionally, the Aztec stone cladding system is A1 fire rated, in accordance with BS EN 13501-1:2018 as per section 3.2 of the[ System Laboratories UK report number 123-C.](https://brickability.co.uk/uploads/documents/Aztec-Stone-Cladding-Classification-Report-123C.pdf) What stone panel dimensions do you offer? Our standard panel dimensions include the following: - 600mm x 300mm - 600mm x450 mm - 900mm x 300mm - 900mm x 450mm - 1200mm x 300mm - 1200mm x 450mm For bespoke dimensions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch as most sizes can be accommodated. What is your stone cladding made of? The Aztec system is made using solid stone, not a veneer and is available in four key stone types: - Limestone - Sandstone - Granite - Slate Each stone is available in a range of textures, including honed, flamed, sandblasted, tooled and polished, to ensure your facade finish is exactly as you envisioned. Each texture will provide a different effect to your project vernacular and is a great opportunity to add character and dimension to your development. Does the Aztec stone cladding system include cills, copings and radius panels? Yes, we’re able to supply cills, copings and radius panels.
