This is a product where the specifier is allowed to let their architectural ideas run wild. Beyond the design possibilities of glass reinforced concrete cladding, the GRC material is also backed by an A1 Fire rating, is EPD verified and is 95% recyclable at the end of its lifespan. GRC stands for Glass Reinforced Concrete, a versatile material that takes the concept of precast concrete and imbues it with glass fibres to create a stronger yet lighter alternative. Is GRC lighter than concrete? GRC is typically 80% lighter that precast concrete while the material has a tensile strength of > 50KN/mm2. When used as cladding, GRC can be moulded into thin panels - as little as 12mm thick - that reduces sub-constructions, load on buildings and CO2 emissions during transport. How is GRC cladding installed? Our GRC cladding solutions can be installed in a number of versatile ways so that the materials is integrated seamlessly into your facade. These include: - Stud-frame (embedded steel frame) - Embedded steel brackets - FA1000® We also offer secret fixed and face fixed cap covers, so your GRC cladding facade can continue across any surface.
